Do you prefer paperbacks or hardcovers? and the reason(s) for your choice? :)

I prefer paperbacks because, first of all, it’s cheaper and my hardcover books usually get damaged easily. Hardcovers are nice but they’re so expensive. It’s nice though because it protects the book except for the skin cover, it usually slides off when I’m reading and then it gets crumpled and ripped and whatnot. Paperbacks are nice just because I like the feeling of it.
